'ALTERATION IS NOT BEAUTY' BY LULU RECLUSADO-NARIO THE race car driver and Studio 23 VJ shares her thoughts on plastic surgery, diet, sports, and her ultimate goal. Alteration Is Not Beauty. “Beauty is what’s within and what you think. No matter how nice the packaging, whatever is inside is important. In boobs factor, since I am athletic, that would be a hindrance to the gravitational pull in my system. I like my physical attributes and alteration is a no-no. I like being tanned, I like being under the sun, so as much as possible I would like to be as morena as I can be.” Starvation Is Not an Option. “Diet? I like to eat myself so why deprive myself?” Sports Is Happiness. Sports relaxes me, it makes me happy. Aside from my racing, I do flag football, frisbee, and capoiera-a Brazillian art from which combines martial arts and dance.” A Change Is Gonna Come. “If change is inward, it doesn’t happen at the snap of a finger. I have realized I’m not Wonder Woman and I cannot do everything in one day. I want to have more focus and I want to organize my life, but I need to slow down a bit. It’s a lot of baby steps.” Anger Management. “I’m a patient person. It takes a lot to really make me angry. Like someone who’s irrational and someone who says something and does something else.” Beating the Deadline. “In a way I know that I have a deadline in racing because I’m not getting any younger. In racing kasi, there’s only a small window and each year as I get older, it’s harder to get into that window. I really want to be a professional and a successful racer in the United States-that’s my goal.
